This is probably my most used hand tool. It is extra long, and a fine tooth. Hands down, the best long handle ratchet I have ever owned. I have a shorter version also, for tighter areas.
Some people do not like the bent handles, but it keeps your knuckles away from things while you are wrenching. Once you get used to it, you will never go back to a straight one

Snap-on for me too. Bought mine on Ebay.

Used Snap On or Gearwrench XP120, I have both. I actually use the XP more often than my SnapOn Dual 80- only because it's in the closer toolbox tho ;)

Not quite as well built as a Snappy, but at 1/4 the price I can live with a snap ring exterior (VS bolts on the Snap on) I really like the XP series tho, feels solid and glides- will turn almost loose bolts easily.

Same here. Over the years I have accumulated ratchets from Mac, Snap-on, Wera, some old Craftsman, and Gearwrench (120). 8 out of 10 times, the Gearwrench seems to find its way in hand.

my tool purchase quota from the host has been met..i bought a CIS gauge from them and way overpaid. i'm good.

I have been using my Metabo set for 47 years, and i have worked it brutally. Teng are very good too.

You could just take the broken Craftsman one back and get a new one for free.

that ship has sailed..jumping around my garage cussing and holding my dented hand..that wrench got spiked into the dog poo bag..

it was a heat of the moment decision. and that thing was my lucky wrench!!

I have never needed a 3/8 long handle ratchet. I do, however, use floor jack levers, pipe, over the ratchet handle.

^^Fred - I agree with you 100%. The only difference is I prefer it without the cushion.

One of the A&Ps (aviation mechanic) at my old company had a nice set of Craftsman Professional hand tools. Very nice but now part of the history books.
