Fun to watch the last couple of hours...

That was fun to watch. Glad the rain stayed away at the end.
Can't imagine those Mustang guys didn't slow down on the second to last lap so they wouldn't have to do one more at speed. Can you imagine how bad they would have felt if the engine let go and they didn't finish?

Got home just in time to watch the last 30 minutes live on TV. I had to get home. It was hot and humid and after 4 days I needed a real shower and had to put my feet up. Not in the shape I used to be in. I walked 4.5 miles today, 6.2 yesterday, and 4 on both Thursday and Friday. I camped outside the track and walked in and I'm plum worn out.

I've got about 1700 photos to go through. :( But I'll post up some of the Park Place/Pelican Parts car.

Unforgettably the driver's door had the PP logo on it and sometime during the night the door was damaged and the one they replaced it with didn't have the logo. :rolleyes:
The drive's side is the side toward the crowd when you're in the infield so they wasn't much reason to shoot anymore shots of it. Here is a shot from early this morning with the new door.
