It's a car, drive it! I drive my 911 all winter unless there's snow on the ground, as it has RE11s and that gets scary. I just clean it afterwards, all good.

Sure, they looked cool in the magazine ads in the 60s and 70s, but every car looks much better without billboards on the tires.

Plus they look too much like whitewalls once the car gets moving. :cool:

I had a Vega. On a quiet day I think I could actually hear it rusting.
I think the tires rusted. Everything rusted.
I had to rewire everything- the wires all rusted. Rewired most of the car with speaker wire.
Might not have had any money- but we had tunes and lots of speaker wire.

Love the look of this car- glad he is actually using it.
