If the Eagles are ahead at halftime, they’re gonna get stomped in he second half. How many times have we seen that?

If the Patriots are ahead by halftime, it’s 50/50.

I take Brady all day long.

To say I was disappointed would hardly do my emotions justice.

Brady wins until he doesn't anymore. If the Eagles choreograph their defense like a Busby Berkley water works number centering on pushing Brady they can pic em apart.

If I were the Eagles head coach I would start by loudly saying to the league we want the air pressure in all the balls tested.

I would tell my players I want you to know what your opposing player had for dinner last night by the smell of his farts.

I win either way.

I enjoy the excellence of the Patriots in the same way I watched the 49'ers, the team I root for.

But one of my best friends is Philly born and bred and I look forward to the phone call if they win.

Beautiful day.

SNL actually had a funny skit about this last night...

I think it's going to come down on how well or poorly does Foles play . He's been good enough to get them there but this is a whole different level to play at . He has to play a solid 60 minutes and let the D and special teams provide additional scoring chances .

The Pats have been here so many times it's just another chance for a ring . They prepare like crazy and make halftime adjustments that are amazing . I don't care who wins I'm just hoping for a close competitive game . Best of luck to both teams .

I think that's pretty much spot on.
To the Patriots this is another trip to the SB. For the Eagles this is a first time in a while trip. Key is for Foles to "manage the game" and not make the big mistake. Trust that the solid Eagles defense will play like the solid unit they are and make your chances count. I think if the Eagles D can get to Brady and Foles doesn't make any key mistakes the Eagles win this game. Most importantly don't make the mistake that Atlanta made. If you get a lead, keep your foot on the throttle and keep doing what got you the lead.

I think more people would like the Patriots if it wasn't for the M a s s h o l e s. That SNL skit is spot on! As much as I hate them and Brady, I do respect them.. but for the love of god, please make them lose!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!

I have been waiting 20 years for the curse to be lifted, but so far it hasn't. It would be good for the Eagles if I watch the game. All of my friends are Eagles fans, and they want me to watch the game with them. Not going to happen. If the Eagles want to win, they are going to have to work their butts off. Maybe they will break the curse, and I can start watching Superbowl games again. ;)

GF had the same curse with the Lions. Refused to watch 'em because they lose when she did.

She figured it out. Didn't matter if she watched or not.

Crowbob 02-04-2018 01:35 PM

I want Brady to smash and demolish every NFL quarterback rrecord in history. If his team also does the same for team stats, go for it I say.

Revamp football.

Make it smarter, more precise, less violent and arrogant as hell.

But they always lost.

The game has changed a lot in some ways bad but other ways good.

The level of athleticism and skill is leaps and bounds above where it was 20 years ago.

They are faster, stronger and smarter than ever.

It’s almost come full circle where the number of guys on a team who can play both directions is like the early days when that’s how the game was played.

I think my favorite evolution is on defense where these days defenders are just the opposing teams wide receivers and it’s battle for the ball.

Damn, Boychick just figured out a way to win the coin toss.

cabmandone 02-04-2018 05:08 PM

So far I have seen two really bad calls in the first half. The Pass interference call that kept a NE drive alive and a non pass interference call in the end zone that should have gone against NE if you're going to call the one that kept their drive alive.

Baz 02-04-2018 05:14 PM

Former Florida Gator Trey Burton throws the razzle dazzle TD pass to Nick Foles to put the Eagles up 22-12 at the half.

Que Rocky......

flskala 02-04-2018 05:19 PM

Brass b***s 4th down play!

When you have the pats down you have to step on their neck and snap it, like the Giants did TWICE. 2nd half time adjustments be dammed - as much as it pains me to say, FEF!
