Anybody else watched Black Mirror?

Did this give you the creeps like it did me?

I had only seen the short gif clip before.

Seeing the whole things now...yes, yes, it gave me the creeps.

The damned thing even gets close so it can clearly see the handle before grabbing it...

Its a great series. I thought season 2 took a few episodes to get good, but it came through. If you want something similar, check out Electric Dreams on Amazon Prime TV. Same concept of completely separate stories each episode. But more into the future instead of the near future like Black Mirror.

Actually, the BD video inspired the episode. I read that somewhere.

As for Black Mirror, yep, that's one the little lady and I enjoyed binging on! Some pretty creepy themes!

One of the worst episodes of the series, imo (along with White Bear and Nosedive).

We have watched them all. Some are really good, some not so good per the usual regarding any series like this. That being said:

Season 3 Episode 3 "Shut Up and Dance" was the most disturbing to me as it is just a matter to time.....

"Shut Up and Dance"
Couldn't get through that one in one sitting...had to stop it and revisit it several times. Gave me the damn willies.

All in perception.

I agree with your assessment but these episodes hit different peeps in different ways.

Waldo was neck and neck with Metalhead for the bottom, in my opinion, but Metalhead still shook me up.

Great series if you are into agony. Shut up and Dance, Merits, White Christmas up top.

Weird, I think "Nosedive" is one of the best. Gets slow at the end though.

S1 "The Entire History of You" and S3 "Hated in the Nation" are my other favorites.

FWIW and just talking because I love/hate the series.....

Nosedive is painful for me because I read the comments in Youtube videos. That's the only reason. I despise casual judgement but provide it with abandon.

The Entire History of You was literally too excruciating for me to watch the ending. It was well done.

Hated in the Nation. Way up there.

San Junipero and the dating game one were a breath of fresh air but in the middle of the pack.

Star Trek one was weak but still watchable.

It says something when every episode is at least worth an opinion.

These 3 are tops for me:

Merits
Shut Up & Dance
San Junipero

Playtest, Hang The DJ, Hated In The Nation & USS Callister were very enjoyable also.

My issue with Nosedive was that it felt too American.

I couldn't get into the Entire History of You and I just skipped White Christmas entirely.
