Oh fastfred...

Assume your closely watching the BAT auction for the 76 930? $70k rebuild? ( I know the shop, reputable, but ouch). Car is local, ought to go look but I don't want to pester. Has the usual BAT concours judge peanut gallery.

Some of the comments are hilarious, like asking if the rebuild was done by a defense contractor.

It’s not original. The passenger mirror is not original, the rear spoiler is from a 3.3 car, why would they have removed the original seats in favor of the non sport seats?

Nice car but not original.

All of those things are pointed out in the ad. Original tail is included with sale as are the sport seats. But either way, $70K is a buttload to pay for a rebuild but he posted the website of the company that did the rebuild and it looks like no expense was spared!

Original doesn’t mean modified but comes with parts to make it original. Original means comes with the parts it came with from the factory, still installed on the car.

Original cars get top dollar.

I will not be listing on BAT . Thanks for the heads up. Seems like they have really slipped a bit over the last 3 years. Curious to see what this one brings . I unloaded the other one , right at the peak. That car, I owned with a partner, so it was more or less getting rid of dead weight for me
I talk myself into selling this car every season, but always have a hard time pulling the trigger . Not really sure what my next move is . Seeing the numbers down, makes it a little bit easier to hold on to it .

Wow. Somebody had a lot of forethought keeping all the original stuff together. Great basis car for preservation. Appears to even have the original 15's
