Pelican Parts Visits BBi Autosport
BBi Autosport, located in Huntington Beach, CA is a space that any Porsche enthusiast would enjoy visiting. Stepping into their lobby, lined with various water-cooled Porsches, and you automatically know that these guys mean business!
 Started in 2005 by Betim Berisha, BBi Autosport is a shop that can take your stock 911 and transform it into a Pikes Peak contender (and they've done this with their prepped 'Turbo Cup', taking home 1st place in Time Attack 1 at the International Hill Climb in 2015) or can just give it a once-over before its sale. Their workshop looks like the type of space that you'd want your Porsche to be in: clean, organized with multi lifts and a separate space dedicated to engine building/rebuilding. When we walked into their workshop space, we were greeted by Betim, owner and former Porsche Motorsports employee, and 3; all white cars: their current Pikes Peak project, a GT2, and a GT3-RS. Betim then gave us a brief rundown and said "make yourself at home" before tending to some business.....not a bad way to start.  We proceeded to walk around and just enjoy what BBi had to offer. With the exception of their 'Turbo Cup', all the cars belong to customers.

They even had an Ultima, which was getting a full overhaul and an F1-style treatment.
     BBi's Engine Room with work being done on a customer's project. In 2017, BBi acquired a CNC mil to start making their own parts as well.      Passion is what drives Betim and his dedicated team to build and maintain Porsches for the road and track. BBi is essentially a one-stop-shop: some go for a simple oil change and brake job and others have a custom roll-cage built and mounted in their GT3 to race at Laguna Seca. What ever your expectations are, BBi will undoubtedly deliver. All in all, we have zero complaints and look forward to being back again and again to see what new projects the team is working on!
