..can't get enough Caillou, and his little beady eyes.

Bill K & Maddie (4)

Sorry, but can't stand Caillou, and his whiney voice. Plus, why doesn't he have any hair?

Dig the Octonauts, though.* And Umizoomi. Always thought the Backyardigans were clever, too.

My littlest one is going through a Wally Kazaam phase right now. The Zombie Zucchini episode was very cute, and I have that catchy song in my head all the time, now.

* My 7th grader confessed just this past week that one day at school he hummed the first few bars of the Octonauts theme song, and the girl behind him joined in and finished off the rest of the tune. So apparently they're fans, too.

My neice tortured my father with Sponge Bob Square-Pants. I think I'll buy her the Boxed Blu-Ray set for college graduation this spring.

Be very happy you never had to deal with Ed, Ed and Eddie.

Guess which one my son decided was best and emulated?

My pseudo-grandson (neighbor's kid) is fascinated by two people, me and "Pider Man!" He is obsessed with Spider Man and, of all things - me. High praise for me in my opinion. The best part is, given the option of watching 'Pider Man or hanging with me, he chooses me. I'm sure he is happiest when I sit and watch with him, but I am thrilled when I can get him to engage with me on something else.
Life can sometimes bless us with the most unexpected gifts.

One of my coworkers trains real search & rescue dogs. One day she was bragging that her dog can find a lost boy. (She has every right to brag about this.)

I (jokingly) told her that was nothing impressive. According to my two-year old, a real rescue dog should be able to talk, operate a vehicle, wear a backpack that has some sort of psychically-controlled accessories, and fly, if needed.

(My two-year old won't eat lunch unless Paw Patrol is on. He has the Sea Patroller and most of the characters and their individual vehicles. He has a Paw Patrol bed with Paw Patrol sheets. He frequently wears Paw Patrol pajamas at night and Paw Patrol t-shirts during the day. He sleeps with a stuffed Chase. We have about a dozen Paw Patrol books.)

I found these three hour blocks of Looney Tunes - they're set to record. We're slowly weaning the 4yo off "educational" things like PawPatrol and BubbleGuppies into proper cartoons.

I learnt physics from the coyote. She can too...

My 5 yo grandson is moving up from Winnie the Pooh to Paw Patrol but it will require some serious repainting.

^^^ stickers. They sell themed vinyl decals that stick to the wall. Have seen them at Home Depot. Paw Patrol, Star Wars, Marvel superheroes, etc. I did one wall in a Ferrari racetrack, once.
