I've lost control of my home.......

It's been overtaken by PAW PATROL, and by our two grandchildren. I'm just along for the ride now I guess.

Hate to admit it, but I kinda like Chickaletta. She's always in trouble.

Need pics to show that you are losing it....:)

Dennis,

As someone who has been one of the primary caregivers for a now 3 1/2 year old grand daughter for three years now, either get a couple of car seats that will fit in the back of the 911 or get out of the house from time to time.

I was surprised this morning by an episode of Curious George I had not seen before. My life is so pathetic.
I have, however, put an anchor in the Miata so I can transport the little one. One of her usual questions is, "Why are we going slow?"
"We're in town dear. See the 50 on the sign?"

Sigh
Les

Beware, the kids will out grow these shows and move on. Leaving you wondering just what that monkey is up to.

Love them while you have them.

Cheers Richard

you lucky dude!!

cabmandone 02-23-2018 07:36 AM

Great thread! Kinda makes me miss when my kids were younger and watched those shows.

Paw Patrol is good, but one thing about kids these days is that soon they are on to the next big thing. My three year-old has wandered through these recently:

Paw Patrol
Tayo the Bus
Dino Trucks (not bad, really)
PJ Masks
Llama Llama
Peppa Pig
Sid the Science Kid
Bubble Guppies
Poli (?)
Max and Ruby (I can't handle that one)

I keep whipping out my Looney Tunes Road Runner and Yosemite Sam stuff, but he likes his stuff. ;)

Looney Tunes, Roadrunner, and Yosemite Sam are the best!

VincentVega 02-23-2018 08:03 AM

Foghorn leghorn for the win!

Porsche-O-Phile 02-23-2018 08:19 AM

It gets easier when they're a bit older - my son is 8 and I've introduced him to the Coyote / Roadrunner cartoons, Animaniacs and The Three Stooges, all of which he loves. :) Bonus for me and a good break from PJ Masks and Bubble Guppies (which my 4 y/o loves waaaaaay too much...)

I can't wait until he's around 10-12 and can start appreciating the nuances of Monty Python.

Ha. Our littlest one watches it. One day, one of my other kids (who was maybe 9 yrs-old at the time) commented: "Yeah, I'm not so into Chickaletta. That's a character they could really do without."

Ryder, the head of Paw patrol can sure lay his hands on a lot of neat hardware.
"No job too big, no pup too small"

They’ll be binging Sex And the City in no time.

Yeah, my guys are NOT interested in all my old favs like Bugs, Daffy, Foghorn, Elmer Fudd, and on and on. This is their time, bless them for that. BTW I'm not complaining. My 2 yr old, also likes Bruno Mars "Funk you up" or Uptown Funk on youtube, go figure.

My daughter watches paw patrol.

Of all the darn things-
Ryder's 4 wheeler with the extra low ground clearance bothers me!!!

vlocci 02-23-2018 10:45 AM

Who is the never seen figure who is funding paw patrol and why are they investing billions in absurd equipment for small dogs to operate instead of funding proper emergency services in Adventure Bay?

I prefer aquanauts myself

Creature report, Creature report

Actually if you have young kids watching TV I recommend some of the sciencey shows on youtube: Action lab and Cody's lab are 2 good ones.
