Keep in mind that JD Power is an "initial quality" survey. I got a survey from them shortly (within weeks..under a month) after I bought my '09 Mustang new. I replied, but have heard zilch from them since. So, I suspect this is NOT a long term use survey.

JD Power does do an Initial Quality Survey too, but this is a different study focused on longer term dependability. The score in the chart Baz so kindly posted is a Problems (reported) Per 100 vehicles number (PP100). So in this dependability study, eligible Lexus and Porsche owners who responded to the study reported -- on average -- 1.1 problems per owner (110 per 100 vehicles). Fiat owners, on the other hand, reported (again, on average) 29.8 problems each (298 PP100).
Full disclosure, I worked for JD Power for more than a decade . . . .
