About a year ago I was at home despot and one of them solicitors asked me if I was interested in getting insulation work done.
I was curious as I have been thinking about improving my insulation.
Like a dumb a** I made an appointment just to see what they recommend.
Total high pressure sleazy overpriced scam.
Quote was about 3 times higher than should have been and he laid on all kinds of total BS claims that simply were not true to make the sale.
I politely showed him the door and he started under-cutting his bid. By the time I had him out the door he was down to 50% of his original quote.
My advise: don't waste your time with these people, you'll have better luck hiring someone blindly out of Craigslist.
