I noticed my track supplier (mini-excavator) has store on ebay, with 'make offer'.

Last track I offered $150 less than their store price, and it was accepted.... they were surprised when I went and picked it up.

Bobcat and Kubota filters are cheaper on Amazon prime than ebay and local dealer.

how much were his usual shipping cost on ebay?
might be he has a good deal on shipping, and overcharges in that area so he can recoupe the discount on the offer you made him.

I bought quite a bit on Ebay starting in 1999/2000. I quit after having four bad experiences with sellers - one of whom was a member here at the time. Now it's PP or Amazon or Craigslist (if I want to sell something).

So many negative waves here man...it is a real downer listening to you fellows. Lets put a smile on that face:):):)

Back to the topic at hand: I gave up on auctions a LONG time ago. I also pay close attention to the rating of the selling and only buy from USA sellers. Its a great place to go for hard to find stuff and good deals.
