Back in the Mix
I need to brush up on the search function here
![]() Brought this home yesterday from Virginia, purchased from the Pops of a long time poster here. Needs a lot of work but it is secure in one of my barns until the SL560 sells. I am what happen when Cousin Mom and Uncle Dad meet.

Nice, wind noise is a pain to fix from the Targa top.

My third Targa. My head will stick above the windscreen!
This will be my last one...I'll get it mechanically right, drive it and then worry about the next move. The 560 has been a real pleasure but I wanted the pain and anguish of an SC

Congrats! Platinum (looks like) is a great color for Targas. Have fun with it and post progress.

Well done and enjoy in good health!
I've always like your SL (ex-Choco's?). You should keep both! |

Maybe you can track down some sport seats, that would get you down inside it a bit.
Those targas are the nicest top down driving. Seem wide open from the seats, yet no buffeting from behind. Nice getting one you can enjoy using. Will be looking forward to your progress with it. " the pain and anguish of an SC". Too funny! And true. Cheers Richard Last edited by tevake; 03-11-2018 at 02:18 PM.. |

Not sure, exactly...I have the original engine lid and that is all I really cared about.
I'll figure out what it is and sell it in a few months. I get the tail look, just not for me. I spent the day getting reoriented.

Very nice Paul. I'm happy for you........No wind noise from a Targa if you never put the top on......

Congrats...I have to admit, you’ve moved in the right direction. Just find the SL a good home!
