The SC got driven to work each day and sat in the parking lot sun all day.

I'm sure the sun an UV is also bad for the rubber and plastic bits on the SC. I'm not sure that you'd take a GT3 RS to the beach with the dogs unless they are 2 small dogs that both fit in the front seat.

I'm all for driving a car. When I had my old '88 targa, I drove it to work rain or shine. I once had water on the hood between the headlights because I was plowing through some deep standing water.
But the GT3 RS is not that sort of car. I'd definitely drive it to work or just about anywhere, but it's not a hauler or good for more than 2 people. I think if I could afford a new GT3 RS, it would not be my first or only car. I'd probably have something else that would do a better job of taking the dogs to the beach than a car with a roll bar and no back seat, centerlock wheels, etc....
Again, this is NOT just a regular street 911 with stiffer springs and swaybars.
