The year after I moved in to our old farm house, I installed a large wood stove, and have been burning it 6 months a year for the last 22 years. We also used over 2000 gallons of propane that first year, and haven't used more than about 300 galllons a year since....i'm ready to shut it down, and clean it out this year.

Hate to have to tell you this, but it was 75 degrees here today with a perfectly blue sky and a gentle (maybe 5 mph)breeze blowing. We had some heavy rain on Sunday, but that front moved on out quickly. There are some good things about living in south Georgia!

I honestly don't think that you hated to tell us this.

We have about 5" on the level ground here. Supposed to be 60 and sunny this weekend.
Should lead to a nice muddy mess.

Snowing again tonight in Chicago. My son called me from Philadelphia yesterday and told me it was 80 yesterday. He went swimming yesterday and it wasn't indoors.

That must have been Saturday. Yesterday in this area it didn't make it out of the 40's.

Four distinct mud seasons here in the past two months...finally a ray of hope two weeks ago that it was over - but...noooo! Another arctic blast, another pileup of snow...and I'm so longing for the day when I can finally switch out the snow blower for the mower deck on my JD!

Not sure how much snow we got as it was in the 40's yesterday. My roof was white but the pavement was dry and the grass was clear.

55º today.

I claim that itis officially Spring. A small town near me was having thier village wide garage days today when I drove through on company business. This a yearly thing they do, and most of the years, it is met with 60-70 degree temps, this year started out with salting the sidewalks, and sweeping off the inch of snow.......low turnout !

Visability was less than 1/4 mile this morning from driving snow.

We have no days below freezing in the forecast!

But we had the same thing in early March, and got hit with 9 inches of snow and it has snowed once a week since...
