Love that sheet.

Only thing I can eat with a face is gummy bears.
I don’t really like seafood, but I was in Maine last summer and thought I would be a big boy and try lobster- whole lobster with its face looking right at me and I’ll be honest, somewhat unsettling. I had a few bites and was done- a few very happy people at my table that got a bunch of free lobster. |
Only way I'm gonna eat eyes is black eyed peas....I'm just sayin'.

Don't knock til you try it.

It does take some getting used to. As a kid, I didn't like it. |

I guess I have no sense on adventure. Not trying any food that is looking at me. Ive tried moose, bear, raccoon, goat and probably some other critters but none were looking at me. Seafood, I could live without forever. Just grill me a N.Y. strip and I am happy.

They actually wash the meat with water that contains biocides to kill the bacteria in it... It’s funny that most people won’t eat haggis but they will snarf down a hot dog... |
I’m in southern South Korea right now and have seen some interesting food for sale on the street. I’d say pig heads take the cake though.

My maternal grandmother used to make Sicilian food all the time. Apparently anything except for the hooves and jaw was good to go. Yes they were very poor before coming here but gawd I hated that stuff.

Most of my top food adventures occurred visiting Japan. Had whale sashimi style, raw horse, shrimp brains (who knew they had them), chicken tendon, braised intenstine from unknown animal, blowfish, tiny little whole squids (purple colored), and raw crab liver. I usually will give everything at least one shot. The last two were the only ones that I didn’t take a 2nd bite.

Back in the olden days when the world was still in black and white, before color showed up, and I was dating, looking for Mrs. Right now......
I had a date with a chick that wanted to cook for me. I was never one to turn down a meal cooked by someone else. She was thrilled to cook her favorite meal, Tuna Casserole. That is not on my list of favorites at all, but my big head was not making all the decision that night. I swear it tasted and smelled like she used cat food for the "tuna" and it was just hard to swallow. It was amazing how fast I got "full". The stuff reeked like the dumpster behind an oyster restaurant, or the fish market. Yuck. The big head was not happy. |
