Nice story. He gets a model car as a present from his wife, has it on his desk in the office for a few years. A business contact appears to be the Audi sports director who was responsible for the real WC car and they together hatch the idea to create a replica. The guy is genuine if you ask me.

Interesting. I thought that the German auto inspections were very strict. I wonder how that beast gets through.
