The price of fuel in BC could soon be fuchen nuts!

A B.C. nightmare: How Alberta could sow gas price Armageddon in Vancouver | Calgary Herald

The premier of the province of BC is vowing to use "every tool in the box" to prevent the federally approved expansion of the Kinder Morgan pipeline from Alberta.......

The problem is that they consume a schit load of that dirty Alberta crude!!! 90% of the province's oil supply for gasoline, diesel, etc comes through the now 50 year old existing KM pipeline from Alberta.

I say, as a proud Albertan, let's "turn off the tap" to bring a big, fat dose of reality to all those people in BC that don't want our oil! FUCH 'EM!!

Let's please not PARF this up!

What's up with you peaceful Canadians? My cousins are all in the oil industry. The down turn affected a couple of them.

I'm sure you love your premier, I agree as long as we can turn off the other one. We can bring in fuel from somewhere else.
Dont worry Justin will fix it for you.

We will both loose....BC can import, Calgary doesn't have a port. Goods for Alberta can be hold hostage for months. 80% of the crude moved in the line is for export. This revenue will be lost.

Alberta will loose thousands of Jobs, and we will scramble for fuel.

NDP both sides. Both Albertans and BC'ers lost their mind voting these ****ers in at the first place, and Justin doesn't give a **** about the West, just like his dad. (Remember the Trudeau salute..)

PARF enough?

Except for the fact, Alberta isn't loosing anything yet, since the pipeline isn't built. What Alberta could do is only put diluted bitumen into the current line, and let BC deal with that. It now needs to be refined before BC can use it. Last I heard, your current refinery was down for maintenance, so you are importing most of your gasoline on barges from Washington.

You know what’s funny is most of the “eco” protestors are sponsored by US Oil interests and they probably don’t even know it. The other thing is why are they not protesting coal? BC is a huge exporter of coal...

Actually, most of the eco Anti-frakking protesters here are sponsored by Saudi Arabia and Russia.

After reading your first post I'd have to say your request came too late.

And what about the people in BC that do want your oil? I'm betting it's the majority of us.

Don't let our sitting provincial government speak for us, we didn't even elect them!

PARF = Politics and Religion Forum

It doesn't define a behavior, type of post, etc.

It just defines a subject that aids in organization.

Now I liked it better when we just had OT itself as threads could flow more freely.

Now if this thread started as a political topic, the only way not to parf it up is to ignore the original topic and start discussing a new one.

Do people still share chain letters? I know this stuff happens in social media, but physical letters, email, etc?
