Racing Through the Forest
just finished watching a good movie about the first Pebble Beach races on Amazon Prime. Worth investing 90 minutes to see where sports car racing in the US really got going.

Yep, Racing Through the Forest. Not spectacular but interesting interviews with Shelby, Hill, Brock and others. They do a fair job on talking about the group that supported the big names. Nostalgia for back in the day. The question running through my mind is, what is the equivalent today?

Yep, watched it as well.
Another one popped up afterwards. It was the Grand Prix of the Bahamas of '62 or so. Great watch as well. |

I'll have to put this movie on my "to watch" list. I'm a big fan of vintage iron, and the real men that built, and raced them.

AFA old racing and in general car movies, Amazon is a treasure trove. Pay attention the the suggested features at the bottom when your video finishes. It will lead you down a week's worth of rabbit hole.
