"My Pillow"

For the last couple years I have seen these TV ads for this guy pushing a pillow.
If you listen to talk radio, you will this guy pushing his pillows.

Well, I can't get comfortable most nights and I have goose down and even Wallmart
pillows. So, I said "Screw it. I need 8 hours of sleep."

I went ahead and bought two of these pillows. You get matched to your weight and what side you sleep on... I received them yesterday... fluffed them up in my dryer for 15 minutes and double bagged them.

Look, I am not trying to sell these pillows and I have no idea how they are made but honest.. I slept for eight hours last night, hugging a pillow with my arm around it.

Crazy , because I don't now why.

Anyone else tried these TV pillows?

Which side you sleep on?
Heck I roll through the night like a rotisserie chicken.

Glad it worked for you.

Honestly, I think you'd be much better off getting pillows from here. THey aren't left over chunks and garbage, and not that much different in price.

https://sleeponlatex.com/products/sol-natural-talalay-pillow

The missus and I have 4 (queen size, high loft), and my mom has 4 (high loft, 2 queen and 2 king). These are high quality latex pillows.

And the service that this place provides is fantastic.

We also ordered a topper for our bed (the missus wanted it to be more cushy). I ordered a 2" firm topper. The missus hated it. We called them, they sent a box for us to return it in and covered return shipping. We then ordered a 3" soft topper which made the missus much happier.

Do they stay cool? I really like to have my head be cool at night.

I've had the same pillows since I was a kid. Feather pillows that my grandmother made from her own geese and ducks. Never found a need to replace them. Once every few years the ticking gets replaced but otherwise they're the best money can't buy anymore.

The head getting hot on your face and behind the ears is over with "My Pillow."
I am going to google the pillow and see why it works for people like me.

I sleep mostly on the right but rollover to the left and sleep about 25% of the night.
Then, when I know it is like 6 am.... I just lay on my back, open my eyes and do those easy feet stretches and then I am out and going to the coffee pot and WSJ.
Love the pillow.

What, you have no prostate? 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep? No sir. There’s no pillow that can do that!

It's nothing special as the function of pillows go. It's a common product with a gargantuan marketing effort. We bought one when they were setting up kiosks in Kroger stores. It was OK, but no miracle. We took some of the guts out of it (it was over filled for our taste) and we still use it. It's OK, but My Pillow is basically an extraordinary marketing effort for a very ordinary product.

I think my wife has one, but I’m not sure.

For 50 years I used some type of feather pillow like drkshdw. Washed it all the time and replaced the ticking every so often. Finally got rid of it, but can’t find a replacement.

That is our experience, yours may be different.
I hate the dam things.
My mother bought some. She ended up throwing them out because she waited too late to get her money back.

This is what they are filled with.

This is the natural latex foam pillow that I linked to above.

I've slept on latex foam pillows since I was a kid. I spent a couple of years with a couple of "memory foam" pillows because I couldn't find a latex pillow. The memory foam stuff is horrible. It is hot, and it's great for the sellers because it's much cheaper to make than latex, especially natural latex (comes from trees).

I'm very happy with my pillows from https://sleeponlatex.com/

Several years ago, we were at Bed Bath and Beyond. They had about 3 or 4 "levels" of feather pillow from a $50 feather pillow up to a $200-300 goose down pillow. I think the missus got one that was about mid-range. It was a nice pillow, but I didn't like it and had to get a foam pillow. It looks like they've got a bunch of options on their website.

Eight hours sleep. Man, I'd die for eight hours sleep.

Umm, that doesn't sound right.

I get up for a pee every two or three hours, it would never work for me.

I had a MyPillow and I liked it but since that time (as many have recommended above) I have switched to a latex pillow and like it much better.

My wife loves hers. I am content with my foam, contoured pillow.
