The brain eating ameba is one of several protections nature has against humans overheating the planet. You see, the ameba is encased in a cyst that is harmless as long as the water temperature stays low enough. Approximately 50 degrees or higher is all it takes. As we heat up the planet and water temperatures rise, so will the rise of the deadly brain eating ameba. Beware!
