I found a truck to go with my bike, but I must be recovering since I didn’t make them an offer

The '61 'vette is cool, one thing to consider wrt color is that a non-original/color change will impact value quite a bit for Corvette people, if you care. I love those cars and browse them all the time.

My uncle, (mom's brother), bought a new '62 in red w red scallops, single tone car. Red interior as well, a sharp car. It made quite an impression on me as a child, I was all of 3 years old when he got it. As I grew up, I always wanted to check it out at family parties and look under the hood, etc. I was just car crazy at a very young age.

When I was in JHS in the early '70s, he sold it to his sister, my aunt. It got stolen out of their driveway and was never seen again. I wonder where it wound up?

Just the few miles I've ridden it it does surge a bit at steady throttle.
Not sure I can dial that out. Maybe it's nature.
It does pull good.
