Early "S" Window Frame Rust

Here is a photo of the left rear window bottom corner. I know the window and seals were replaced back in the mid 80s by the OO.

These rust areas are about 5/8" long and are rusted through. The rest of the frame is solid. I know that the left rear fender was resprayed in the mid 80s when the window was reinstalled. The OO tracked the car and some damage was done. I just rediscovered my package with all of the history and 38 years of receipts for maintenance, repairs and parts! I have gone through and pieced together the history for this S. I am going to track down the original owner who bought her in June of 1970 and sold her in 1997. Hopefully he can shed some light on what happened!

Any thoughts on repairing this area greatly appreciated. I suspect this is a job for the pros but I like to know what I am getting in to.

cheers,
Michael
