Paint code/ color help
here's the skinny.
Paint to sample from the factory. COA had paint code as 9999. Door jamb plaque has 165-9-3. The "legend" passed along, as i am the 3rd owner, was the car was painted to match the 1st owners Mercedes. The closest thing I can find by eye online is a Mercedes paint code 422 of Byzantine Gold Metallic. Vin# 91A014719 built 10/79 Any help ASAP would be appreciated. Trying to get her on the track next week. TIA some pics for color reference:
