Dash color change

Looking for info on changing the color of a leather 930 dash from burgandy to black,anybody done this with any luck?Local body shop paints them with urethane enamel,doesn't seem quite right .Any input greatly appreciated.

Is the dash real leather or vynal? Leather you use leather dye. Vynal use vynal paint I think you can buy it in a parts store called Dup-color or something like that. Hope this helps.
