I am doing to do a IROC look car and would like to repaint in original 74 IROC color. I do not know what they look like or what codes they were. Any help would be nice.

there are 15 colors not 14 . bright yellow 139 , mexican blue 336 , acid blue 354 , golf blue 328 , pistachio green 137, light green 253 , bright green 213 , GP white 908 , black 041 , strawberry 024 , indian red 027, carmen red 009 , audergine 025 , orange 156 , sqhara beige 516 ,

there are some things that bother me about that car posted .the door mirrors , hood hold down pins , rims are all black ,and the mirror and head lamp rings should be black

I know this thread is a month old but it's applicable to my question. I'm in need of some paint (not the whole car) and the PO of my ride had it completely resprayed in 1983 POR139, just like the IROC card in this thread. The paint is currently in good shape, shines well and spent it's time in the garage.

So now the questions and yes I don't know jack but I'm willing to learn

On the card it has a lot of info under POR139, is the the various color used to make the mix or is this variations on the tint or what?

As mentioned before the paint is very good, what do you think the odds are that out of the can paint will match the current paint?

I believe my current paint was sprayed single stage, is there an easy way to tell?

Where to acquire the paint? There's local napa but am curious if there are recommendations for on-line paint suppliers. I'm wanting to take a swing a painting a new fiberglass front/rear bumper and hood.

yes under the color are the tints used to make up that color . but the tints listed are no longer produced . its an old and out of date paint line . glasurit now has the 22 line single stage , 55 line bsae colors and the 90 line water born colors . don't let the fact that the old 21 and 54 lines are no longer made . the tint colors are still the same but the tint # changed . so you can still get the colors for old cars and they will match the OE colors . becouse glasurit supplyed the paint for porsche most of the time its a very good match . they also offer the color max system for match colors . i would get the paint from your area glasurit jobber (store) look in your phone book for a location near you .

I am not sure that is karminrot; it may be Fraise. The Fraise (Strawberry Pink) car was driven by David Pearson among others. I have a complete list of colors for those cars around here somewhere. A friend of mine had the yellow one which was sold to famous Porsche collecting sitcom comedian.
