Is my frame with in specs?

I have a 1982 911sc that had some front end damage on the right front corner during a hill climb event. Fender and bumper are being replaced as well as the right tie rod end. Everything is coming along well, however I want to make sure that the frame measurements are within specs. Here is what I have found. It 'appears' that measuring from the bottom hole in the lower control arms back to what I think is a constant measuring point on either side. The right side seems to be 3mm shorter than the left. Is this within specs? Not sure if the car came from the factory like this or it happened in the accident. Is there a diagram of what is the measuring points? Any advice out there. Here are a couple of before and after photos.I will keep you posted as to the progress.

i should add you should triangulate all your measurements . also do it to the control arm bolts were they mounts to the body . that would be the control arms front and rear bolts to the body . cross measure as far back on the pan as you can go .

I did some cross measuring from the back of the subframe to the rear sway bar mounts and the measurement were out by 5 mm. The real tell tale sign was that the right subframe brace does not fit. By the looks of it the right side of the subframe has been pushed back 3mm. Front mounting points appear straight and square. My son and I loaded the car on the trailer and it is now at a reputable frame shop to attempt to get things straight. In the meantime the bumpers and fender got back from the body shop so it is wet sanding time. 320 then 800. Thanks for the reply it confirmed the car is not out by a lot but enough to 'put it right'. I'll let you know what happens.

Just to update, the car has been to the frame shop and word from them as of this morning is that the subframe positioning is now perfect. Interestingly enough he built a bracket to push the subframe forward instead of pulling it!!??. I will pick up the car tomorrow and will let you know how it turned out. He usually takes photos so I'll post them if I get them. Bumpers and fender are wet sanded to 800 grit and are at the paint shop for spraying.

Off to the frame shop

Trailered the car to the frame shop and to my surprise the frame fellow ended up building a brace to mount to the bottom of the car where the front roll cage stays come through the floor. He then placed a hydraulic ram from the brace to the subframe. After losening some bolts he managed to push the subframe ahead the ~5mm. After all was done he trammed it out and the car is very straight. Fender and bumpers were prepped and are now back as of yesterday. Rear bumper and fender installed along with the front bumper. Front bumper will go in tomorrow to get a 1/16" layer of Line X truck bed liner to prevent starring from the race tires throwing rocks.
Till next time. Thanks David for the advice along the way.

Thank David. Porsche Wine Red. I think it was the predecessor to Arena Red. Got the front bumper back today from the truck bed liner place. I hope 1/16" will be enough to stop rocks from starring the paint. Here is a pick.

Absolutely! Still working on the side bolsters. Going to make clean up a lot easier the next time I hit something. Actually no, we are doing a basement development right now.

Just back from the Knox Mountain Hillclimb. Everything worked well. Posted a personal best this year at a 2:00.218 sec run. Place first in class. Really happy with the results as I was very tentative this year with last years screw up. Will tune the car on race fuel and more down force for next year. Here are a couple pics of the event. Thanks again for your help.
P.S. the toilet seat worked great!
