The worst place in 911 to fix rust?
Hi,
What is the worst place and hardest to fix place in 911 to fix incase of rust? Is it under the windshield, or wheel well, shock towers or somewhere else? Basicaly if you see rust there, dont buy it type of thing even if you are a very good body man...? |

Bird. It's the word...

None of the car is "unrepairable", particularly for a good body man.
If I had to name a place than has proven difficult, it's the metal around the torsion bar area as there is another internal layer of metal you can't see until you open it up and they are all welded together in a particular order. The floor pan is also relatively difficult due to many, many spot-welds - if it's rusted out, then you can bet the inner and outer rocker/sills are gone too and the full repair requires a jig, or at the least, comprehensive bracing welded in.
