NEED ADVICE- S or T trim?

Hello all,

My 1972 911T has S trim on the sides and T trim on bumpers-all trim is repro. I have no bumperettes on the front and the ones on the back have holes in the sides so I installed one of those chrome bars that go between them.

I was thinking of putting S trim on the bumpers and bumperettes on the front. My car is pretty original looking everywhere else. I know it's probably a matter of taste but I dont know what would look the best or look correct. Any suggestions would be great!!

S or T trim?
Bumperettes or not?
remove the chrome bar between the rear bumperettes?

tx as always,
Joe

My 70T came from the factory w/ s trim on sides and bumpers. I think if you had T trim on the bumpers you should have had T trim on ther sides (The shorter skinny ones).

What color is your car?

My vote is 'S' trim (especially the rocker deco, I really like the S version!) without bumperettes on the front. A '72 would have rubber bumperette's, no?
My car has 'S' trim all around with bumperettes front/rear. I did some photoshop to remove them, you be the judge. I prefer it without, just a clean rubber stripe. Unfortunately from being installed for ~40 years I've tried to remove them and without replacing the rubber and perhaps a re-spray of the front bumper it will look pretty rough without them.
On the rear, I tend to like the chrome bar between chrome bumperettes. In general I don't really like the body colored (usually present on fiberglass bumpers) or the rubber versions which came later. But it is only opinion and yours is what matters most with your car!
