Anybody install a 2.2 litre motor in a 912?

Hey guys..
Just helping a Buddy out . He found this 68 912 and refinished the tub. When I met him he was working on this old Vw van motor to install in the 912. I had a 2.2 from a 70 911T sitting around since 1987, sold it to him. We 're trying to install in the car, and see we have to make a few adjustmentsto the mounts.. Somone mentioned somthing about suspention issues that have to be addressed a well. Have any of you done such a thing or know anybody that's gone this route. We could use some good tips on this one please. thank-you busterblond
er just Doug

Go to engine rebuild there is a thread by permzOr or pemzOr where he is rebuilding a 2.7 that is going on a 912. On the second page there is some info about it.

Im sure there are many threads but probably the technical section is more appropriate
