Wheel cleaner for Kinesis wheels ?

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2005 Boxster S with Kinesis wheels and would like to know what type of wheel cleaner can be safely used on this type of wheel ?
Also, does anyone have any experience with these as far as assembly/disassembly ?

Thanks in advance !

Don't use wheel cleaner if you don't have to. Just wash them when you wash your car, with a separate rag or wash mitt than the mitt you use for your car. Wax the wheels with a cleaner wax whenever you wax your car.

and if you need help with working on the wheels, email me. I have photos showing how to put them together. Torque spec is 16 ft lbs on the nuts, do not torque the bolts.

My Kinesis SuperCups are super sweet but it looks like the PO of my car never, ever, ever washed them. Ever.

SO, I washed them. And it helped. But the inner barrels aren't even close to clean. They aren't black anymore but they are a long way from silver, more kinda permanent brown if you want to know. Silly me, I want them CLEAN. What's next in the arms race?

Thanks JJ,

I cross posted over here for better hits. I don't know how you found both posts so fast.

Everyone restores Fuchs, What about my SuperCups?

Saw your first post and went back to my post on the "Cleaning..." thread to copy my post.

This cleaner is fantastic and is safe on all metals.

Have fun

I've had much luck using regular household Silver Polish on my wheels.
