Prototype body identification

I am wondering if anyone recognizes this prototype body design. It came from ford Motor company when they owned Jaguar.

We are thinking of producing dies from this mockup. Although its similar to the XJ220, the body behind the front wheels is very different.

I was at a car show where they had a tub and roll hoop on display. The ford guy said ford was planning a supercar, I the early stages ( long before the new ford GT)

My understanding was that project was stillborn

Maybe that was it??
