Forward motion on '64 356 Project
I pulled the interior today. I'm very happy to find the car is almost as rust free as expected. The rear seat area is sound and the rear floors are just fine.
![]() ![]() The ugly part was found under the front foot boards. Both sides had a very Large mouse nest. There was at least 5 lbs of debri and smelled like nothing I've ever dealt with. ![]() The floor under the boards will have to be replaced as they have rusted too far to save. I'll post more as I progress.

Amazing what you can find in these things. Good luck on your project. Going to be a street or track car?

It's a customer restoration.

That's great it was kept dry all these years. It's nice to work with good solid steel.

Kevin, I, for one, appreciate your putting up pics and detailing progress. Since I want to be doing this sort of project soon (when I find a car), I will be following your progress.
I remember when the customer found the car and put it up here. It's in good hands now. |

I stalled the project till the first of the year. I'll be documenting everything as best as I can. I'll keep posting as I make progress.
