RWL tires for 356 ???

Does anyone know any RWL tire that would fit on my 15" rim (1959 356A).
I searched a lot and it seems there is none

Any help would be appreciated! THX.

I didn't know what RWL meant at first, but you learn something every day. A quick check and I found some BF Goodrich tires that would work - http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebrand=BFGoodrich&tiremodel=Radial+T%2FA%AE&pc=64472

Those are 195/60/15 - not exactly stock, but very close and that size is in common use. (I use 185/60/15's).

Also check the article on the 356 Registry - that shows a lot of tire brands available in various sizes which are close. http://www.356registry.org/Tech/tires.html

Note, however, that you probably would have to go to a 5.5" rim, probably wouldn't work on 4.5's.

Thx

Thx Jim,

This is also what I found out: the rim has to be bigger. I also found Cooper Cobra Tires (Raised White Lettering) that look nice, but require 5. rim as well.
I checked and realized that I have 4.5 all around with Michelin XZX on them. I ended up keeping the tires and am happy with the new look (powder coated).

Dirk
