Unknown 356 Need help with id

Hi Team

I have happened across a 356 that would look great inside the confines of my garage, and out the front of work opn a sunny day.

I have the vin Number but little else, For registration in NZ i need proof of ownership or bill of lading .... etc etc. As much as possible really.

I know it is a bit of a strech but any help would be appreciated.

1961 RHD 356, stamped 113766, Is a silver coupe with red interior.

Best Regards

Alex

It is a 1960 type T5-B Reutter bodied coupe.
That is about all one can get with just a VIN.

Hi Alex. I have looked at this as well and probably spoken to the same LTSA/certifiers as you. There is something weird about this and I ended up thinking that if the current "owner" can't get paperwork, what chance does anyone else have. Like you say you need documentation to support previous registration - old plates or numbers are no good as they could have been stolen. I can't believe anyone could allow this situation to happen with such a nice RHD 356.
