Garage
Did you change the fuel?
Are the fuel lines in need of changing?
What are the cicumstanses that the car was left and not run for 3.5 years, knowing this info may bring some insight into helping you with your problem.

Regards,

Kelly

has been going thu a very slow total body restoration and
just got painted. so 57A was taken a part including the gas tank.

so gas tank was refurbished (cleaned up and painted)
fuel cock has new washers ... but no lines were replaced.

as i was starting the the cock was always on RES.
i did see the gas going thru the filter. but... never did idle.
I have to finish the dash so i could not tell what rpm it was going at.

thanx 57A

Hello

Where to start ?

Check your ignitiontiming, the valve play and then check the carbs.
Floatlevel, clean jets, syncronize.
