Help matching cases
I'm normally hanging out on the 911 side so forgive me for my ignorance. I just purchased a large (to me) lot of Porsche parts. Included are several 356/912 disassembled engines. I'm looking for help identifying which cases belong to one another as well as what cars they would belong to. If anyone is looking for one these for their car let me know. Hopefully the cases and the front numbers will match up.
Here's what I have for the front case numbers. 67869 60060 0700849 602197 Here are the numbers from the top of the actual engine case where the numbers are next to each other Left Right 705. 167 10279. 1600 67492. 616/12 I only have three engine cases but four front cases. There might be a fourth but I haven't found it yet. Any help figuring out what I have is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Look on the top of the case halves at the flywheel end. There should be a three digit number stamped on each half. They should be the same number. Now look on the front pieces on the top left and find a three digit number stamped there. Match the parts that have the same three digit number for a complete engine.
