What "artists" will do

So my wife wants to go to the Art Walk last night downtown, a patient of her's says "oh, you should check out [bla bla] there's a bunch of art cars and a cool old VW painted"

Ultimately I found myself mortified on many many levels but I thought I'd share

I think it looks a lot better than the Janis Joplin 356. It reminds me of the hippie 917 that was so outrageous in its time. The front reminds me of the most recent BMW art car by Jeff Koons. And yes, I do like most of the classic BMW art cars. Stella, Calder, Warhol...

I've got a few shots of these cars somewherefrom my factory & museum visit/tour. One of these days I'll get around to scanning some of this cool stuf to digital. Damn!
