Decal Placement?
OK, guys & gals, I have a '58 356A Normal that I powder coated the fan shroud on. The shroud does not have the relief for the valve adjustment decal, so where should I put that decal? Center it as well as possible, or put it directly over the generator? An older engine ('55 or maybe a '56) is pictured, in the factory manual, with the decal over the generator, so I've been wondering...thoughts?

I placed mine over the generator in my 59 A. I have a 912 engine in it and it has the relief. The sticker was too long to lay flat in the relief. The sticker is custom made by CarBone to reflect the valve adjustment that matches my DeLong Cam. Then again I'm not concerned with a concourse car.

Thanks, Troop! Without a relief I think I'll put mine over the generator as well.
