Question Old engine I came across

I was hoping some of the more knowledgeable folks on here could help me determine the exact year and usage of this engine. It has a serial number with stars on each end and the number *903361* also stamped is 901/01 and in center of intake 901.101.102.01 the number 65 with four dots under it I believe indicate April of 1965? Not really sure if its a valuable engine or not?? It does have a hole in one piston, but I bought complete with carbs, air cleaner and stacks. Any help would be appreciated.

1965 for sure. 1/65 to 7/65. Could be April, that would be a guess.

I'm guessing it is a late 65' engine which would have gone on a 66' model.
