Hooking up a MSD to an SC

So I have a '83 SC engine, PMOs, I just installed the MSD-6AL box on it, a high vibration coil, magnecore wires, bosch plugs. I just had a quick question if someone knew, do I hook up the green wire to the white MSd sender wire? It has two leads on it, do they both go into one? I'm not sure if the wire in this distributor is correct or not.

What is the benifit of using a '78-'79 SC distributor?

Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the MSD connects the two outputs on the other end (the purple and some other colour) to the two wires coming out of the dizzy.

Wait 'till someone can tell you the right answer.

The white wire is for if you have points or a Pertronix.

The green wire has two wires. You hok it up to the external sensor wires on the MSD. I think they're like purple and green or something. (THe magnetic pickup wires...

Do a search on MSD wiring and you'll get what you need.

Actually here it is...

Thanks you much! I will use the magnetic trigger wires then. It should fire up in a few hours later today.
