Rothsport ITB 3.6

Another EFI project recently off the engine dyno, about ready to go home. With a 915 gearbox & short gear ratios, this car rates near the top of my list for fun factor and listening pleasure. You would not have a clue it had A/C.

Would love to have this engine in my 75. Are you willing to share what an engine like this costs?

Beautiful! How are you doing the A/C (I don't see a compressor)?

Really nice looking engine! But I don't see how it's Individual Throttle Body (ITB).

Look at the bottom of the arms of the intake plenum/resonance chamber. There's one throttle body for each cylinder.

Lovely. I'm wondering about the AC as well.

What's the air intake? I've always loved ITBs...until you put an air filter on. I've also read that plenums are...better...at flowing air...I dunno anything.

You can see what looks like the edge of the filter at the front of the plenum.

Kinda like this but with the plenum turned around.

And Rothsport also did a bunch of work to Gunterwerk's 400R 993 which used the Classic Retrofit A/C system...

Hey, Scott, does that use your 'hidden heat' system or does it go without? Maybe some other magical source?

What intake manifold is that? I've a 3.6 that may need to go into my IROC rep.

Beautiful engine and curious to know if the electric AC works well.
