Overheating leads to very loud fuel pump buzzing

Has been heating to a cm from the red zone for the last couple months, I don’t drive too much rn though.

97* here in SLC.

Has begun dying on first start after driving up to overheated temp, then starting right up with a small puff from exhaust.

Now on my way home the fuel pump began buzzing much louder and pinging at the same time...

Help?

Anyone encountered this exactly?

It could solve my overheating issue considering the connections between the other problems now

Hmmm, you really have two issues that are not related.

1. Buzzing Fuel Pump is a sign that it will be failing soon. Check fuel pressures with it on and off.

2. Over heating, check your thermostat temps ( inside the l passenger side rear wheel well ) to insure it is opening up when it reaches 190F

I just replaced my fuel pump last year....isn’t it posdible that it’s all running too rich, overheating the entire system..therefor burning out the fuel pump? Where are all the ffff spots I can check EXACTLY to rule this out?

Unfortunately, even Porsche brand fuel pumps are not that great anymore. Mine started to buzz after 2 years use. Reverted back to old one and all was well.

As far as running rich, you need to check the fuel pressure readings. That may cause a rich or lean situation but more likely lean as it sound like you have a blockage somewhere. But I am just guessing until you provide the readings.

Hi Engine temps has nothing to do with fuel pump as heat does not directly affect it.

"ffff" I am not sure what you are writing here. I think I was clear, check your fuel pressure and check your thermostat to insure there is no component failure.
