Tachometer with rotated numbers

Here’s what’s going on my “new” car ...
Hand-made for the “old” car by the guy that did the factory turboS gauges , but he replaced the turbo S writing with CARRERA writing .
Still sitting on a tote after traveling from England around 10 years ago , just waiting to be installed .
With hindsight , I probobly should have left as it was
I like it it , and that’s all that really matters ...

As I’ve got older I’ve come to appreciate a “high-rpm” tachometer twisted slightly counterclockwise .
I think it looks much more Gooder than the “red-line-top” thing ..
