Bob, that is very interesting. I had the VIN & engine # but that was it.
Nice to confirm the build # with a photo. The AC installation is very unusual. Would probably be worth getting the Kardex; contact me please. |

Kevin, definitely a 1966 Model Year
Larry, thanks! Kim, 11188 should not be blank; is there evidence of the serial being removed? The original serial is likely near 3280433 +3/-7 |

Hi
I bought a 1968 2 liter yesterday here in Norway. Used to be in an old VW bus some years:D Type 901/03 with Serial # 2080404 Build # 11028 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537424371.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537424371.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537424371.jpg |
Thanks guys. Just a reminder that the most up to date list is found here; I can update this thread easier since Pelican posts cannot be updated a after a short period. When possible please look for the case mating #,s on the top of the case near midpoint, and the casting dates under the pulley on each half.
Type 901/xx Engine Build #'s |
