Seatbelt receivers? How to fit 74 seats into my 86 Carrera?
I got a great deal on brown cloth seats out of a 74 911 and planned on swapping out the leather sport seats in my 1986 911. I noticed the seat belt receiver in my 1986 slide with the seats (appear attached to the seatbelt frame). Is there a way to swap these seats? Do I have to source a set of non-power 85-89 seatbelt frames? or???

You will notice that the 86 seats are very stationary and that’s why the belt receiver is attached to the seat. Six or eight 8 mm bolts vs. four 6mm bolts to hold in the early seats.
Yes the seat rails will attach to the Carrera bases but you ll need washers Bruce |
