Turn Signal and tail light lens questions

I'm wanting to ditch the amber on my car and was wondering if anyone knew if I can just buy the lenses to change the front turn signals to clear and the rear tail lights to red. Found these on FVD.

On a separate note...any suggestion on how to fix the wave I have going on in my front bumper? It's a TRE fiberglass one.

https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD631403/front-turn-signal-lens-set-911-930-1974-89-clear.html

https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD631404/tail-light-lens-set-911-930-1969-89-usa-red-lenses-with-black-trim.html

EDIT: I noticed after the fact that Pelican also has all of these with several options for the tail light lenses. suggestions on what brand to go with? I'd rather not dive after the cheapest one if it's not going to be quality.

lenses you posted would work fine -- you might want to consider factory bosch/porsche red lenses for the rear, as I'm unclear on how good the dansk repros are. while you're "in there," you might also want to consider the LED light boards that forum member "spoke" manufactures -- I have his rear brake lights and am amazed by the improvement they bring.

On the front, it looks like the problem is with your rubber "smile" trim (a factory part) and not with your FG bumper?

Thanks for the input! I'll check out the LED upgrade for sure!

Here is a better angle of it but the issue is for sure related to the bumper or mounting and I can see a wave in the bumper itself and the smile is just moving with the wave issue causing a gap near the hood in the center.

agree on the LEDS from spoke..great product and vast improvement on visibility by other drivers. Keep in mind, if you do front and rear turn signals and not just brakes, then replace the relay with the one they now offer on line

I'm not sure I follow what you mean. Sorry.

Marine Blue. The car was very dirty and overcast conditions there. We put about 1,400 miles on it last weekend up in the mountains of GA.

now I'm seeing the wave you're talking about -- not an expert on bodywork by any means, but only way I'd see to fix that would be to sand and reshape the gel coat

Is "PDK LOL" a personalized plate? Like it

I mean that the spoke leds for turn and brake lights are considerably brighter in both running and usage mode.

yes haha, that's the tag I had on my 997 Turbo. I thought it was still fitting for the 87 so I just moved it over.

Gotcha! I looked at some of his work and it looks awesome. Not too sure about how I feel about how modern it looks under the lens though. Might want to just change to LED bulbs or something to keep it OEM plus.

you won't see spoke's rear brake lights until they're illuminated (and then they'll be super bright) -- on the front, I kinda like how they can be used as DRL and (if I'm remembering correctly) blink between yellow and white when turning. Might be difficult to find a yellow LED Bulb too?
