return tube problem
trying to install return tubes on 71 911
the outer o-rings will not slide into case or heads without deforming and coming out of slot on the end of the tube. have the green o-rings do i need the red ones?

you have to use either a Bosh grease ot Sachs grease on the o rings..also green is the correct material it is called Viton...no wd40 or anything similar never.

I replaced mine a few weeks ago, I used a little smear of Liqui-Moly lithium grease on the o-rings, they slid right in with no issues. So far no leaks.
