prepping area to apply JB weld?
I need to clean off the old material to put a fresh JB weld over the plugs and other places.
Can I just get a wire wheel attached to my drill/Dremel? Is there an easier, cleaner way to remove the old sealant?

Use a soft brass brush wheel on drill.
