There's a good write-up under the Projects section of this Pelican site....see the top of the screen. At a minimum, you'll need six of the gaskets which go between the cylinder heads and SSI flanges, and two gaskets for the SSI's connections to the muffler. You can use the Catalog function of this site to look them up....but you may need to select a 73 as your model year to get the right part neumbers, or perhaps Pelican has them linked to the SSI's under the Heat Exchanger section of the Exhaust area of the catalog. I like the 84-89 carrera exchanger gaskets for most applications because they have compressability, unlike others.

Yuth, I'd suggest you call Pelican on Monday morning and get one of their Parts Advisors to walk you through what you'll need. They are great folks and the parts don't cost any extra by you leaning on their experience and expertise. John

Should I also order these. What else should I get? I already have a muffler ( Dansk ) with hardwares ready. I plan to leave this job to a local mechanic shop and let them take care of it.
I’ve sent my questions to our host and waiting for them to get back with me. I want to ask you guys first Incase they miss something. Thanks again for every helpful input.

Remember to get 5 barrel nuts and if you want to make life easier 12mm flange nuts for a BMW, you'll need 7. The stock exhaust uses 6 barrel nuts and 6 13mm but if you look at your set of SSI you'll only see 5 access holes. The 12mm nuts are easier to install and much less expensive than the Porsche 13mm.

Here are the ones I used. For the SSI to muffler connection I just went to the hardware store for stainless nuts and bolts.

The picture in post #12 has the part number. Just plug it into the pelican search bar.
